Invest in a new church

Partner churches commit to a $50k investment. 80% funds a seed capital grant to start a City to City (CTC) global city church plant, and 20% underwrites CTC’s costs to assess, train, and coach that church planter. The church plant has committed to reinvest their grant into other church plants in its city or region as it grows.

Develop your leaders.

CTC hosts an 18-month peer-learning cohort, designed from our leadership training for global city church planters. Tim Keller and other CTC senior staff and adjuncts are the faculty. The focus is on leading and operating from a theological vision that is contextually sensitive, gospel-centered, city-positive, and movement-oriented; and it applies to your church’s whole philosophy and profile of ministry. Up to four leaders from your church participate directly in the program, and they can share the content with the rest of your leadership team and/or network.

Why join the Partnership?

You and your team are in a learning cohort with Tim Keller and CTC staff, who bring experience in urban pastoral ministry and coaching, with the goal of helping support your church’s ministry and mission.

Your church is partnered with a new church in a global city. These new churches are urban; they are led by entrepreneurial, committed pastors; they are highly evangelistic, culturally engaged, and economically sustainable; and they have been trained by a trusted source (Tim Keller and Redeemer City to City).

  • Cities are strategic places for missions because cities are where most of the unreached people are;where the next generation is moving; and where the world’s culture and norms are created.
  • Church plants are a highly strategic mission because they are evangelistically effective; and because they eventually become self-sustaining and fund other ministries.
  • Partnership grants are even more sustainable because each church "grantee" reinvests its grant forward to fund other churches in its city or region.
