Shifting to a New Phase of Network Development

The Asia Pacific region experienced significant growth in 2017 with the number of churches planted more than doubling the number started in 2016. This is largely due to City to City Asia Pacific implementing one of CTC’s core strategies—to not just train individual church planters, but to equip and empower local church networks that have the proximity and relationships to train a far greater number of church planters.

New Cities Activated & Strategically-Located Training Centers

In 2017 CTC helped establish church planting projects in Istanbul, Beirut and Tel Aviv. These are the first CTC-supported projects in these cities. Some of the greatest opportunities and challenges for church planting are in African cities. The continent is full of metropolitan cities that are among the world’s largest and fastest growing, many of which will double in size in the next 20 years.
